Why viewership looks “dropped”

  1. Baseline vs outliers. Recent chronological reels (Sept 15–29, 2026) mostly land 8k–35k views. The account’s all-time outliers are 1.8M–5.9M (Mar–Jun 2025). Comparing today’s median (~15k) to those outliers looks like a collapse; it’s really outlier gravity plus a high posting cadence.
  2. Volume dilution. The feed is very high-frequency (multiple posts/day). Many recent captions are thin rehab walkthroughs or empty captions, which underperform the story/money hooks.
  3. CTA-heavy, hook-light. Most recent captions lead with a scene (“Different Stages Of Drywall”) then a generic “Comment BRRRR” CTA. Top outliers lead with a pattern-interrupt money/identity claim first.
  4. Son-story still works — but only with a specific stake. Recent Kayden clips without a dollar/age/outcome stake sit at 10–30k. The ones that clear 50k+ still pair Kayden with a concrete number (“$150k pitch”, “millionaire at 19”, “Money Isn’t Real”).
  5. Mega-virals are older. The three million-view pieces are from Mar–Jun 2025 (bankruptcy→retirement + teenage buyer + hood financing). Nothing in the Sept 2026 window approaches that scale in this pull.

What is actually working (evidence from this pull)

A. Pattern-interrupt wealth rules (mega scale)

- Absolute prohibition + rich outcome. No rehab footage needed in the caption.

B. Son as proof-of-concept with a crazy number

- Age + dollar amount + BRRRR outcome beats generic “onsite at Kayden’s property.”

C. Contrarian lifestyle / money-isn’t-real

- Soft lifestyle flex + son still clears 50k+ when the idea is polarizing.

D. Specific finance failure/edge cases

- Named instrument (DSCR) + failure mode = save-worthy for operators.

E. Near-misses worth cloning

Prescription (shoot implications)

  1. Open on the claim, not the jobsite. First line = money rule / age+dollar / named loan failure. Jobsite B-roll can follow.
  2. One stake per video. Age, dollar, or named mechanism — not “another drywall update.”
  3. Keep Kayden, raise the stakes. Son + concrete outcome (pitch $150k, millionaire at 19, money isn’t real) > son + tour.
  4. Revive origin-story language. “Bankruptcy to retirement in 30 months” / “STOP PAYING THINGS OFF” still define the brand’s ceiling.
  5. Cut empty-caption posts. Several recent videos have blank captions and sit at the bottom of the view range.
  6. CTA after the hook. “Comment BRRRR” works as line 2–3, not as the only idea.

Workflow Notes — TokScript → Analysis → Shoot List

Best-practice notes from this Nate Barger pack (Instagram / TokScript + optional Apify comments).

1. Identity lock first

2. Paginate both surfaces, prefer reels for video stats

3. Stop rules for >50k catalogs

4. Merge / dedupe

5. Analysis without transcripts (when the brief allows)

6. Apify comments (optional, hard-capped)

  1. search-actors twice (e.g. “Instagram comments” + “Instagram reel comments”).
  2. fetch-actor-details for pricing + inputSchema.
  3. Estimate cost before call-actor.
  4. Scope: last N months ∩ views > threshold only.
  5. Cap with actor input (resultsLimit / maxComments) and callOptions.maxTotalChargeUsd.
  6. If the run cannot stay under budget or the account hits a usage hard limit → skip, write an honest note, do not invent clusters.
  7. Pull results with get-dataset-items; keep verbatim text.

7. Deliverable set that travels on a plane
